We’re looking for a Product Design Lead to design the most engaging experience of use for all of our products. You’ll join this rocket flying to the moon and we expect you to be full-life on this adventure with us.

What you'll do

• Define product roadmap, goals and vision along with CEO Martin Haiek. Also, define KPIs and alignment with all stakeholders for accountability on deadlines along with Product Manager (PM).
• Lead UX and UI across our products, following Around’s Design System, for both desktop and mobile.
• Enhance our Design System and standardize it across our different products, maintaining all design up to date with the current versions of our products in production.
• Develop a deep understanding of customers, products, and user journey.
• Conduct interviews with our different stakeholders and iterate based on feedback.
• Research and benchmark existing solutions and alternatives in the market.
• Handle and solve all PM’s design requests following the Scrum methodology, and adapt it to our needs. 
• Produce multiple concepts and prototypes rapidly, understanding when to explore deeper vs switch paths.
• Own every last detail at every step along the journey from whiteboard concept to hi-fi treatment.

Who you are

• An adventurer — you want to be part of something big and feel eager to impact how people work.
• Experienced in shipping products, and building products at scale using standards like Design Systems.
• Solid design skills, understanding of design principles, usability, interaction patterns, and visual hierarchy.
• Track record using qualitative & quantitative data sources for user research, and techniques to measure UX.
• Proficiency in using and keeping up with design technologies, practices, and industry trends. (Currently, we mostly use Figma for design and Jira for task management)
• Capabilities for rapidly prototyping ideas, learning from A/B testing, and being detail oriented.
• Experience working and facilitating decision making with Front-End Engineers and Product Managers.
• Autonomous and with an owner mentality — deep understanding of the product, its users, and ability to continuously iterate and enhance the product, as well as offering a long term vision for it.
